
Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal collision near Dundalk that resulted in two deaths. At approximately 8:40 a.m. on January 27, authorities were notified of an accident at the intersection of Grey Road 9 and Southgate Sideroad 71 in Southgate Township.
Upon arrival, officers, along with the Dundalk Fire Department and Dufferin County Paramedic Service, found that a commercial vehicle had struck a passenger car. Tragically, two individuals—a 49-year-old and a 15-year-old from Kitchener—lost their lives in the crash, while a 19-year-old sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. In order to respect the families’ wishes, the identities of the deceased will not be released.
